Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a
K-12 public school setting located in Mesquite, NM. This contract
position spans the current school year (CSY), offering a chance to
apply clinical expertise directly in the educational environment,
supporting student communication and language development. Key
Responsibilities: - Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with
speech, language, and communication disorders. - Develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student
needs. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other
professionals to enhance student progress. - Maintain thorough
documentation and progress reports aligned with school policies. -
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student
educational goals. Qualifications and Experience: - Valid
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language
Pathology. - Experience applying speech-language pathology skills
within school settings. - Strong knowledge of developmental speech
and language disorders in children. - Ability to work effectively
with students across a wide age range (K-12). - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills supportive of teamwork.
Location: - Based in Mesquite, NM, serving K-12 students within the
school community. Contract Details: - Full-time commitment (40
hours per week) for the duration of the current school year. -
