Sylvan Learning Center on the east side of El Paso is currently hiring math teachers for part-time positions. Applicants must be able to teach high school-level math. The position is also available for teachers that can teach high school level Chemistry and Physics. As a Sylvan instructor: You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given tools to teach in a small group setting, 3:1 You will provide personalized instruction in math based on the student’s need Opportunities are available for instructors with Sylvan’s SAT/ACT Prep programs Flexible afternoon and evening hours and Saturday morning hours Requirements: Bachelor Degree in the math-related area preferred Ability to teach high school level math Experience working with students Positive attitude and ability to develop rapport with students of all ages Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays
