Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
clinician is needed for a travel assignment in Las Cruces, NM,
supporting a small and highly supportive public school district.
This opportunity is based at Jornado Elementary and offers the
chance to work with a welcoming team of bilingual and monolingual
SLPs. Location: Las Cruces, NM (near El Paso, TXapproximately 46
miles away) Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy
to a caseload of approximately 60 students, including three
structured communication classrooms (SCC). Focus on current therapy
and caseload needs without concerns about compensatory services at
this time. Collaborate closely with other SLPs on site who are
supportive and helpful. Utilize experience with Augmentative and
Alternative Communication (AAC) if possible; willingness to learn
is essential. Desired Qualifications: Licensed Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) with New Mexico state licensure (must already
have or be in the process; candidates without NM licensure prior to
start are not eligible). PED certification from the NM Department
of Education by the start date is preferred; candidates can work
while PED cert is pending. Bilingual candidates are ideal but not
required, as the existing team includes bilingual SLPs. Current
experience as an SLP or CFY clinician in a school setting.
Additional Details: Full-time (40 hours preferred), part-time
inquiries will be considered if onsite. No vocational
rehabilitation focus at this time. This position is available ASAP
through the end of the school year. The school district has a
longstanding history of working with the billing client and
expresses strong support and appreciation for assigned clinicians.
The community is located in beautiful southern New Mexico near
recreational sites such as White Sands National Park. To apply,
