Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
full-time, onsite psychologist position serves a middle school in a
small, supportive district located in southern New Mexico. The role
begins with the 2025-2026 school year and extends through the end
of May, with a possibility to continue through Extended School Year
(ESY) services until the end of June. Candidates must hold New
Mexico state licensure, with a preference for Level 2 or 3
certification; however, Level 1 licensure may be considered.
Responsibilities include providing a robust therapy caseload,
conducting re-evaluations, and handling crisis interventions. This
role is essential to the district as it covers a full school year
assignment while the current psychologist is on leave, with the
contractor remaining in place upon their return. Key Qualifications
and Experience: Current New Mexico licensure as a school
psychologist (Level 2 or 3 preferred; Level 1 acceptable)
Experience delivering therapeutic services and crisis intervention
within a school setting Ability to perform psychoeducational
re-evaluations Comfortable working in an onsite capacity at a
middle school Strong communication and collaboration skills for
working within a small district environment Location and Travel:
Position based in Chaparral, NM, near Las Cruces with beautiful
southern New Mexico surroundings Proximity to El Paso, TX (46
