Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
onsite school psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026
school year through the end of May, with a possibility to extend
through the ESY period into late June. This role supports a middle
school in a small district located in Las Cruces, NM, a scenic area
in southern New Mexico near White Sands National Park. Candidates
near El Paso, TX (approximately 46 miles away) and surrounding
areas including Deming and Truth or Consequences are encouraged to
consider this opportunity. Key Qualifications: - Licensed
Psychologist in New Mexico (Level 2 or 3 preferred; Level 1
licensure considered) - Experience providing therapy, conducting
re-evaluations, and managing crisis interventions within a school
setting - Ability to commit through the full 2025-2026 school year;
experienced contractors will remain through the entire assignment
even after the current psychologists return from leave -
Availability for onsite work only; travel within the district
(between campuses) may be required and will be compensated
Responsibilities: - Deliver therapeutic services and crisis
intervention to middle school students - Perform psychological
re-evaluations and assessments as needed - Collaborate with school
staff and families to support student well-being - Maintain
thorough documentation and compliance with district policies
