Full-time Description JOB SUMMARY GMRE is currently recruiting
for an Electrical Aircraft Technician. This position is day shift
and may be eligible for per-diem based on GSA.gov standards. The
Electrical Aircraft Technician will perform maintenance and
modifications on assigned aircraft using electrical, electronic,
pneumatic, and other test support equipment. Operationally checks
all systems, sub-systems, and associated line replaceable unit
(LRU) removal and installation. Interprets and advises on
maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and related

notice. Requirements ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoots,
inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, overhauls, and
operates aircraft electrical systems, components, and associated
support equipment. Recommends methods to improve equipment
performance and maintenance. Knowledge is mandatory of electrical,
electronic, and mechanical principles relating to electrical
systems, concepts, and application of maintenance directives.
Ability to interpret the meaning of symbols used in wiring
diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. Must have the ability to
properly handle, use, and dispose of hazardous waste and materials.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Excellent verbal and written

skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to
prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to

Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Ability to
work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice as
needed. Ability to maintain professional appearance. EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE Minimum of five (5) years total electrical experience in
Fighter/Attack/Bomber (preferably F-16) aircraft maintenance as an
electrician. Must have experience working with aircraft wiring,
technicians will be installing Avionics system modifications by
routing, terminating 10/100 and Gig Ethernet wiring, copper wires,
primary power wires, Coaxial wires , shielded twisted
pairs/triplets, and possibly triaxial wires/connectors. SECURITY
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS Must have ability to obtain and maintain an
active U.S. SECRET clearance and be subject to a government
security investigation. Driving or renting a car for company
business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a
valid driver’s license is required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Normal
color vision as defined by GMRE, with a passing score of 75% or
greater. Medical Examinations and Standards is mandatory for this
specialty. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. TRAVEL
REQUIRED Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this
position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
