TO START A CAREER THAT IS OUT OF THE ORDINARY, PLEASE APPLY...JOB DETAILSSenior Director, Research Analytics - RemoteThis role is expected to quickly develop a solid understanding of KANTAR offerings, and most importantly Media effectiveness measurement product suites e.g. BLI, XM, Norms, etc. To be successful in this role, the candidate will have strong understanding and ability to work with extremely large data sets and quickly remove noise in clutter to quickly find answers to the research question. A strong candidate would be analytics savvy and research minded with a strong appreciation for technology, internet and digital media.This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Global Product Leadership. This role has a global remit and the candidate is expected to work across time-zones when required.Duties & Responsibilities:You will:

  • Engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to identify, prioritize and initiate research on research looking into key areas of Media effectiveness measurement.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned or identified research objectives, develop a prioritized roadmap to address the objectives.
  • Start with a hypothesis, and work with large data sets, conduct interviews, perform online research to identify key information.
  • Write excellent reports that are clear, concise and ready to be published externally with minimal rework.
  • Be aware of challenges in media and advertising landscape (both technical and regulatory) and develop POVs on the impact of those changes to methodology, our products, our clients.
  • Frequently use your data handling skill including scripting (Python, SQL, VBA, Excel etc.) skills to extract, transform, and analyze data.
  • Assist the core product leadership in designing new products or enhancing existing product capabilities.Experience & Education:
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with an emphasis on statistics, and analytics
    • Minimum 5 years prior analytics and reporting experience preferably in Media, Marketing Research domains with demonstrated analytics experience. Data and analytics savvy candidates from other industry domains strongly encourage to apply - we will fill the media & digital gaps for you.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience or familiarity with advanced scripting tools e.g. Python, SQL, VBA or Excel etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to write research analytics reports, and present it to a diverse group of audience in various formats e.g. webinar, symposium, conferences etc.
    • Maintains great cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and conscious of adhering to timelines
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to listen and comprehend main problem quickly
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% of time to other kantar offices or client locations
