Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with 1 week call monthly Daily census 8
- 10 patients when on call Inpatient pediatrics, nursery, ED
consults, high-risk deliveries Level I nursery with newborn
resuscitation coverage Emergent procedures including intubation and
chest tubes Call frequency 2 - 6 times during call week No
dedicated pediatric unit Younger children typically transferred out
We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly We arrange
complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice
