  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Assigns, directs, delegates, and supervises unlicensed personnel.
  • Maintains important lines of communication with Office Manager, provider, and other department personnel.
  • Establishes and maintains healthy interpersonal relationships.
  • Utilizes the chain of command to facilitate communication when needed.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal communication and written documentation skills.
  • Adept at the use of current technology in the documentation and provision of care.
  • Works closely with the Heartburn Surgeon and Surgical Nurse Practitioner as needed. Minimum Qualifications :
    • Associate degree is required. Graduate of a School of Nursing program. Bachelors degree and Masters degree is preferred.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required for all areas where moderate sedation is performed.
    • New Hires: Required certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards or Memorial Medical Center.
    • Licenses: Current license as a RN in New Mexico or compact license required.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
