Job Description:

GN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for -a designated time frame under the direct supervision of an RN. - The Graduate Nurse provides care to his/her assigned patients utilizing the nursing process while coordinating care with other health care team members. - The Graduate Nurse provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups. - -Minimum Education: - - - - - - -Graduate of a School of Nursing Program. - Minimum Experience: - - - - -Experience in an acute care facility preferred.Certification/Licensure: - -State permit to practice as a Graduate Nurse. - Current CPR required. - -NRP required within six months of hire. - For New Hires: - Required certification must be obtained with in (1) year of employment. - If currently certified, must maintain current certification. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.Equal opportunity and affirmative action employers and are looking for diversity in candidates for employment: Minority/Female/Disabled/Protected Veteran
