RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - FT NightsAt Mimbres Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home located in beautiful Deming, New Mexico, we take caring for people very personally. Located in the heart of the historic Old West, there are plenty of things to see and do around Deming!Eligible for one of the following sign-on/retention bonus:$15,000.00-3 year commitment$20,000.00-4 year commitment$25,000.00-5 year commitmentEligible for up to $5,000.00 relocation of over 50 miles/3 year commitmentJob Summary:Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.Qualifications:Graduate of an School of Professional Nursing.Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse.Prefer Bachelors degree in Nursing.Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within critical care nursing.Two years of nursing experience in critical care, preferred.NM RN Licensure.Current BLS, ACLS & PALS Certification or obtain per policy upon hire; maintain such certification.We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth.
