Job Description:
Seeking a Full-Time Residential Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
to provide specialized psychiatric care in a rehabilitation
facility. Provide medical evaluations, diagnose and treat acute,
episodic, or chronic illnesses independently or with a healthcare
team.
Participate in developing patient Master Treatment Plans and assess
physical and psychiatric health needs.
Chart observations, communicate with staff, and involve families in
care. Follow legal, hospital, and regulatory guidelines.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and
support health promotion and disease prevention.
Hold a Master's in Nursing, Board Certification, license in the
state, and DEA license. Preferably with at least 1 year of
experience.
Must demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and patient safety
focus.
