Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and
Delivery for a travel nursing job in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36
hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel
Experience 1. Candidates need to have experience and be comfortable
with caring for newborns as this is an LDPRN unit.
Responsibilities: Consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of
Practice, provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process,
including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and
evaluation for assigned patients. Addresses increasingly complex
psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and
families in accordance with their level of practice. Using the
appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments;
monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment
prescribed. Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and
care given. Assess learning needs and provides education to
patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and
resources. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications/nBLS and ACLS
required via AHA/nRN License in state of employment or
compact/nCurrent certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring
(C-EFM) or one of the following AWHONN courses: Intermediate
FHM/nCurrent STABLE (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization
Care of Sick Infants) certification from one of the following
courses: Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor at the
time of hire for experienced nurses./nCurrent NRP certification
