Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry Level I for a travel nursing job in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM /n• Weekend requirements apply /n• No on-call requirements, but willingness to pick up additional shifts for coverage is appreciated /n• Float to bed med, ortho, and PCU units as needed /n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6 /n• Care for general medical, surgical, orthopedic, behavioral health, OB surgical, and pediatric patients /n• Required certifications: BLS and RN License in state of employment or compact state /n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred /n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred /n• General med-surg experience and EPIC experience preferred /n• Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation /n• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness /n• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided /n• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education /n• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization is part of a comprehensive health system that provides a wide range of medical services to the community.
