Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2025 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel: RN - Surgery -DAYS Alamogordo, NM 13 weeks SHIFT: DAYS 6AM-4PM (4x10) START: ASAP Blocked scheduling accommodated: No Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend a month On Call Requirement: 1 day of call a week Floating Requirement / Locations: No Nurse / Patient Ratio: 1:1 REQUIRED: Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. BLS required via AHA RN License -STATE OR COMPACT. ACLS required via AHA PALS required via AHA Verbal CPI hire required. Summary: Demonstrates proficiency and independence in the care of patients and their families/significant others by applying and documenting the nursing process, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Consults with staff, physicians and management on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Continues to learn new skills and maintains clinical competency within the department to provide direct and safe patient care. Must have basic computer knowledge. Job Requirements: Education/Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS required. RN License in state of employment required. ACLS required. PALS required. Verbal CPI hire required.
