Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Alamogordo, New
Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency
Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 10/20/2025 - Duration: 13
weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment
Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered
Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent
hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to
start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful
completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus
available. Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Multiple shifts
available with in-times varying from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM • Full-time
position available • Start date: ASAP • Work with diverse patient
population including clinic-type patients, strokes, STEMIs, Level I
traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications,
pediatrics, behavioral health, and all emergency department cases •
Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-5 • Weekend requirement: 6 weekend
days worked per 6 weeks • On-call requirement: 2 on-call shifts per
6 weeks for emergencies or extra shifts as needed • Floating may be
requested but unlikely due to census • 1 year of experience in
related nursing specialty preferred • Bachelor of Science Degree in
Nursing preferred • Required certifications: Current BLS, ACLS,
PALS, and TNCC certification from AHA • RN License in state of
employment or compact required • Must attend New Nurses Orientation
within first 30 days of hire • Complete annual competency
verification requirements • Provide nursing care utilizing the
nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning,
intervention and evaluation • Administer medications and treatments
while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness • Document
patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess
learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and
