ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Multiple shifts available with varying start times from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM • Full-time position with immediate start • Weekend requirement: 6 weekend days worked per 6 weeks • On-call requirement: 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks for emergencies or additional coverage • Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4-5 • Floating may be requested but unlikely due to census • Must have most recent experience in ED - Level 1, 2, or 3 Trauma within 1 year • Treat diverse patient population including clinic-type patients to strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, behavioral health, and all emergency department cases • Required certifications: Current BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), TNCC • New Mexico RN license or compact license required • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred • One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred • Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire • Complete precepted on-boarding with designated trained staff member • Complete organizational entry competency validation and Emergency Department-specific competency validation • Complete annual competency verification requirements Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive emergency department providing care for a wide range of medical conditions from routine clinic-type cases to complex trauma situations.
