Physician: Cardiac Electrophysiology (Proctor Role) Specialty: Electrophysiology (Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology) Location: El Paso, TX Employment Type: Locum Tenens Open Positions: 1 Schedule & Coverage Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (proctoring) Start Date: October 27, 2025 Contract Length: 13 weeks (with option for additional cases if needed) Schedule: One-time coverage tied to 10 specific ablation cases; no ongoing call or clinic responsibility Work Details Role: Board Certified Electrophysiologist to serve as a proctor for one of the facility s physicians Setting: Inpatient hospital-based cardiology (Electrophysiology) 2 Facilities Covered Scope of Work: Proctoring 10 ablation cases total : 5 PVC (Premature Ventricular Contractions) ablations 5 Atrial Fibrillation ablations Support Staff: Standard hospital cardiac EP team present, physician will serve strictly as a proctor Patient Population: Adult EMR: Cerner Trauma Level: Not specified, hospital-based Requirements Board Certification: Required Electrophysiology (must be BC) License: Texas license only (IMLC not accepted) Certifications: Must be BC Electrophysiologist with demonstrated experience in ablation cases DEA: Required Experience: Must be fully capable of overseeing ablation procedures as a proctor Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days Must be available specifically for the assigned case dates
