An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in operating room care to provide critical support in a Level I trauma center setting. This contract position requires a commitment to three 12-hour night shifts, offering an engaging environment that includes general surgery, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgery cases. Location: Fabens, TX Fabens offers a welcoming community with access to outdoor recreational areas and is conveniently located near larger urban centers for additional amenities and cultural experiences. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Operating Room, preferably within a Level I trauma center Experience with general surgery, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgery Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required First-time Level I trauma OR nurses are welcome to apply Must be available for on-call duties Texas State Nursing License required prior to start (pending licenses not accepted) Schedule/Hours: 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Responsibilities: Deliver skilled nursing care during complex surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes Manage trauma and critical surgery cases adhering to established protocols Maintain sterile technique and ensure safety standards at all times This contract role offers valuable experience in a high-acuity setting and the chance to work with cutting-edge surgical teams.
