Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time school psychologist position is available for the 20252026 school year with possible extended service through June. This onsite role primarily serves a middle school within a K-12 setting in Las Cruces, NM. The focus includes providing therapy services, conducting re-evaluations, and supporting crisis intervention efforts. Key Qualifications and Experience: - Must hold New Mexico state licensure; Level 2 or 3 preferred, but Level 1 considered. - Experience in therapy-focused school psychology services. - Ability to manage re-evaluation processes and crisis interventions. - Comfortable working onsite full time; part-time candidates also considered. Location and Work Environment: - Based in Las Cruces, located in southern New Mexico, known for its scenic beauty. - Proximity to El Paso, TX (approximately 46 miles), making candidates from that area a good fit. - Small district with a supportive administrative environment. - Includes potential assignments near Deming, Truth or Consequences, and White Sands National Park. - Paid drive time between campuses if travel is required. Responsibilities: - Provide therapy services primarily to middle school students. - Conduct required re-evaluations and assessments. - Offer crisis intervention as needed to support student well-being. - Maintain collaborative communication with school staff and families. - Maintain consistent presence throughout the full school year assignment, including continuation after the current psychologist returns from FMLA leave.
