Position Highlights Position: Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Medicine Work Type: PRN / Per Diem Location: Alamogordo, NM Schedule: Schedule: - Per diem, as needed - Shifts scheduled 2 months in advance Facility Overview: - 20 ED beds - 10–12 recliners for fast-track and vertical patients Patient Population: - Full age spectrum - Acuity typical of a community emergency department Responsibilities - Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department - Provide high-quality, efficient care across varying acuity levels - Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams - Support CHRISTUS Health’s mission of compassionate, patient-centered care Experience & Preferred Background - Emergency Medicine experience preferred - Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently - Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Requirements - Eligible for or currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Mexico Interested in this opportunity?
