Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work varying shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM /n• Full-time position requiring flexibility to work different shifts and campus locations as needed /n• Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures /n• Provide support for other imaging technologists and facilitate efficient patient flow /n• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance programs /n• Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems /n• Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals /n• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by licensing /n• Ensure completed exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS system /n• Function as PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures /n• Participate in ongoing education and technical advances within scope of licensure /n• Graduate of accredited radiology technology school or approved equivalent required /n• 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred /n• Nuclear Medicine Technology certification by ARRT or NMTCB required /n• New Mexico state licensure (NMT by MIRTP NMED) required /n• BLS certification (AHA only) required /n• Basic computer experience required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive medical network providing specialized cardiopulmonary services to the community.
