Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Silver City, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,182 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Silver City, New Mexico, 88061! Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years License: Current state licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred) Must-Have: Broad knowledge in a variety of ICU areas Description: The ICU Registered Nurse will care for patients in various Intensive Care areas. Nurses may work with patients in different specialties, including OB, CICU, SICU, MICU, or PICU. A minimum of two years of ICU experience is required. Candidates must have current state licensure and BLS certification. ACLS certification is mandatory while PALS is preferred. Nurses will manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction or failure. The role requires obtaining and interpreting 12 lead EKG/ECG as well as managing dysrhythmias. Management of chronic and acute renal failure will be part of the responsibilities. Nurses will perform various procedures such as central line care, blood product administration, and procedural sedation monitoring. Managing ventilated patients and high flow nasal cannula therapy is essential. Infection prevention and adherence to isolation precautions are crucial. The nurse will also collaborate with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates should be prepared to work holidays and maintain flexibility in scheduling.
