Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring prior cath lab and interventional radiology experience, with a TX or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in a hospital Cath Lab setting - Scheduled for five 8-hour day shifts per week, with start times between 6:00 and 8:00 am depending on case load - On-call is required, with a 7 days on/7 days off rotation and 24/7 availability during on-call weeks - Cases include STEMI support, vascular emergencies, pacemaker, Impella and balloon pump insertions, and neuro or interventional radiology procedures - Requires circulating experience in the Cath Lab - First time travelers are accepted for this position - High Spanish-speaking patient population; translators are available for non-Spanish speakers - Required pre-start training includes 4-8 hours of non-billable modules - Candidates within a 50-mile radius are considered local - Any time off (RTO) must be requested at the time of application - Disclosure of any prior legal action is required at the time of consideration /n /n Requirements/n - Active TX or compact RN license, or eligibility with a pending license - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required - BSN required - Minimum 1 year of work experience in a cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, or neuro intervention setting - Must have previous circulating experience in a cath lab - At least 1 year of hospital-based acute care experience required - One supervisory reference must be provided /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-645909.
