Job Description Job Description Position Name: RN Manager, Case Management Location: El Paso, TX Salary: Up to $130,000 Relocation Assistance Overview: An established, full-service acute-care hospital in El Paso, TX is seeking a full-time RN Manager of Case Management. This facility is a 300 bed Level II Trauma Center offering comprehensive services including emergency care, cardiac care, women’s services, Level III NICU, and more. The role operates on a daytime schedule with rotating weekends and will oversee a team of 18 FTEs, including Case Managers, Social Workers, and one coordinator. A supervisor will report directly to the Manager. Job Summary: The Case Management Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring coordinated, efficient, and patient-centered care throughout the hospital stay. The role involves working directly with patients and families for comprehensive discharge planning, utilization review, resource management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and third-party payers. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient/family assessments for discharge needs and care coordination Perform utilization reviews to ensure efficient resource use and justify continued hospitalization Communicate with physicians and payers regarding treatment plans and level of care Formulate and implement discharge plans including follow-up care, DME, and placements Serve as liaison between patients, care teams, and external providers Supervise and support a diverse team of Case Managers and Social Workers Qualifications: Active RN license Bachelor’s Degree (Required) Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a hospital-based case management setting (Required) For more information or to express interest, please contact: alex@amayastaffing.com
