Step into a high-acuity, team-oriented program serving adults with full inpatient consults, procedures, and STEMI call plus structured weekday clinic time. This role offers consistent hours, defined call parameters, and fast-track credentialing so you can get started quickly. Assignment Snapshot Start: December 1, 2025 Duration: Ongoing Setting: Inpatient (with weekday clinic) Beds (cardiology unit): 22 EMR: Clinview / HMS Trauma Level: III Stroke Certified Hospital: Yes Credentialing: 30 days Temporary Privileges: Available Holidays Observed: New Year s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Nearest Airport: El Paso, TX Schedule & Call Clinic: Monday Friday, 08 00 Hospital Call: STEMI / General / Group call Call Window: 07 00 (24-hour beeper) Response Time: 30 minutes Weekend Call: At least one weekend per month Rounding: Yes (both) Typical Volumes: 7 10 patients per shift; 7 10 phone consults per 24 hours Call Ratio: 1:4 Call-back: 1/3 Candidate Requirements Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Certification: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Licensure: Active New Mexico license Certs: ACLS & BLS - IPL can help with this if needed! Admissions: Yes Supervision: No APP supervision or resident/teaching duties required Team & Support Clinic Support: DNP / CMA Hospital Support: DNP Additional Staff: 1 PA/NP, 3 MAs, 6 office staff Patient Population: Adults (18) Coverage Type & Logistics Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus call (inpatient focus; clinic hospital coverage) Insurance: Provided by IPL Interested?
