The facility features 122 hospital beds and a dedicated 13-bed emergency department (10 private rooms, including 1 resuscitation room and 2 isolation rooms). Annual ED volume: 27,000 patients, with an average of 1.73 patients per hour. 11% admission rate. Medium acuity level. Equipped with a helipad for emergency transport. EMR system: Cerner. Codes: part of the code team; physicians are expected to respond to codes anywhere in the hospital unless a critical patient requires immediate attention. Nearest trauma center: University Medical Center. 24-hour physician coverage in the ED.
