While we take ICU patients, the bulk of our patients would be viewed as more stepdown like in larger facilities that only take intubations into their ICU. We do all of the usual ICU cases such as DKA and Alcohol Withdrawal. broad knowledge in a variety of ICU areas. Our nurses may have CICU, SICU, MICU, patients, and they need to be ready for any of those specialties.
