Job Description:
The Delta Companies, a premier leader in healthcare staffing in
Texas, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to
join our diverse team. This position will require the candidate to
manage patient care and ensure the highest standards of service in
various healthcare settings, including primary and acute care
environments. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with
healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care,
emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. The successful
candidate will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver
optimal health solutions through innovative staffing practices.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish healthcare
plans. Diagnose and treat a variety of health issues, focusing on
holistic patient care. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic
tests such as lab work and x-rays. Prescribe medications and other
therapies in accordance with patient health needs. Educate patients
and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to
deliver effective care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient
records and ensure confidentiality. Strong diagnostic skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Ability to make decisions quickly
and effectively In-depth knowledge of disease prevention and health
promotion Medical Insurance Current licensure as a Nurse
Practitioner in the state of Texas Board Certified by the AANP or
ANCC DEA certification
