Job Description Staff Today is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Travel ICU Registered Nurse to work at a Facility in Las Cruces, NM . These are registry positions with our company. Lodging $96 per day $672.00 Meals & Incidentals $59 per day $413.00 total travel stipend $1,085.00 Gros $38 p/h X 36 $1,368.00 Total compensation $2,453.00 Blended rate/feels like $2453/36hrs $68.14 Shift: nights, must be able to work weekends. The requirements are: - At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). - A valid and current RN license issued within the US - A valid and current CPR card - Experience in ER, Psychiatric, MS or Clinic - Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English. - Must have advanced care experience - Must have ICU or high level step down experience . Job Responsibilities: - Med Pass - Health Assessments - Sick Calls - Provides general nursing care to patients. - Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. - Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients. - Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. - Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient. - May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients. - Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.
