Job Description Pediatric General Surgeon – El Paso, Texas Position Details FT, permanent position Actively seeking a BC/BE Pediatric General Surgeon to join a growing practice Schedule: 2–3 clinic days and 1–2 surgical days per week Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday Shared Call Schedule: 1:3 Clinic Location: Medical Office Building adjacent to hospital Patient Census: 6–10 per clinic day | 5–8 surgeries per week Hospital: 110-bed pediatric hospital with 40-bed general pediatric unit, 16-bed PICU, and new 30-bed Level IV NICU* Support: Board-Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologists, Pediatric Hospitalists, and 24/7 in-house Neonatologists Benefits Details Guaranteed salary with production bonus Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, life, 401k with matching, salary deferment program, etc.) In-house billing, coding, and collections Paid time off, CME time, and CME stipend* Malpractice insurance provided Candidate Requirements MD/DO degree BE/BC in Pediatric Surgery* Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one About the Facility The Children’s Hospital is a 148-bed facility dedicated to providing quality pediatric care in a child-friendly, family-oriented environment.
