Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks an experienced Director of Medical Surgical
RN to lead and enhance the operational efficiency, clinical
outcomes, and patient care in our surgical units. The position
requires strategic oversight, robust leadership, and a deep
commitment to improving healthcare deliverables across our dynamic
network. Oversee daily operations of the medical-surgical
department ensuring compliance with established policies and
procedures. Direct, evaluate and refine the quality of nursing and
operational care. Implement strategic plans and ensure alignment
with organizational goals. Manage budgets, forecast resource needs,
and promote cost-effective practices. Enhance staff performance
through training, mentorship, and professional development. Ensure
departmental compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Coordinate with other departments to maintain high standards of
interdisciplinary care. Leadership and management skills Strong
communication Expertise in clinical operations and patient care
Budgeting and financial acumen Problem-solving and strategic
planning Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certification
in Medical Surgical Nursing (CMSRN) preferred.
