Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator
for our Pediatrics ICU. This key position involves supervising
nursing staff, managing patient care, and ensuring adherence to all
hospital policies and procedures. The Coordinator plays a crucial
role in enhancing patient outcomes, providing clinical leadership,
and supporting the pediatrics team to deliver exceptional care
consistent with our commitment to improving human life. Coordinate
daily operations in the Pediatrics ICU unit. Supervise and evaluate
nursing staff to ensure professional growth and high-quality
standards. Develop and implement nursing care plans and monitor
patient outcomes. Assist with the hiring, training, and mentoring
of new nurses. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Manage departmental compliance with
hospital policies and external regulations. Strong leadership and
organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficient in electronic medical record systems. Ability to
handle high-stress environments calmly and effectively. Skilled in
pediatric healthcare and intensive care procedures. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Certification
in Pediatric Nursing (CPN) preferred but not required.
