in our extensive network. We're seeking a seasoned Hospital
Laboratory Director to manage and lead our laboratory team. This
pivotal role includes overseeing all operational, administrative,
and financial aspects of laboratory services to ensure efficient
and effective results that align with our patient-care standards.
He/she will also champion initiatives for technological
improvements, compliance with regulatory standards, and the scaling
of operations to meet the growing demands of our healthcare
services. Manage the daily operations of the hospital's laboratory
services across multiple sites. Ensure compliance with all federal,
state, and local regulations, as well as organizational standards.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance service
quality and efficiency. Monitor and manage the laboratory budget;
oversee purchasing and maintenance of lab equipment. Lead and
mentor laboratory staff, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement and professional growth. Liaise with other department
heads to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and integration.
Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and
healthcare regulations. Strong leadership and organizational skills
Expertise in clinical laboratory operations and management
Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and resource management
In-depth knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements Ability to
develop and maintain professional relationships within an
interdisciplinary team Strong communication and problem-solving

(MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Society for
Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.
