the Future We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and make a positive
impact on children’s lives. Position Summary: We’re looking for an
enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist committed to helping
children reach their highest potential. The SLP working in the
Esperanza Children’s Therapy Clinic will prevent, assess, diagnose,
and treat speech, language, social communication,
cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders for children
receiving clinic-based services. The SLP will also provide families
with strategies and support to achieve meaningful outcomes. Work
Requirements Evaluate and assess client diagnoses, needs, and
appropriate treatment aligned with goals and outcomes. Meet all
Esperanza Clinic documentation standards. Provide direct
face-to-face services and maintain communication with families.
Meet all billing deadlines, including requirements from the
third-party billing company. Provide services and strategies to
support skill development and behavior modification aligned with
evaluation findings. Collaborate with parents to implement plans
that support the child’s growth and progress. Complete high-quality
documentation within WebPT. Maintain reliable transportation and
report to the clinic in a timely manner. Assess, diagnose, and
treat disorders recorded in the clinic evaluation. Develop plans of
care using personalized, evidence-based treatment techniques.
Evaluate the effects of the treatment plan and communicate progress
to families. Provide high-quality service documentation in WebPT
for billing submission. Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Assistance Qualifications & Skills Graduate degree or higher in
Speech-Language Pathology from an approved and accredited program.
New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist license . CCC-SLP
(Certificate of Clinical Competence) required. Experience working
as an SLP in a pediatric setting. Bilingual English/Spanish
required . Ability to work in a changing environment and apply
critical thinking to modify treatment plans as needed. Ability to
support families in developing strategies that promote optimal
child development. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry
up to 40 lbs (e.g., supplies, equipment) without assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel throughout
the workday. Ability to reach overhead, horizontally, and below
waist level. Ability to navigate stairs, ramps, or uneven terrain
as needed. If driving is required, must hold a valid driver’s
license and safely operate a motor vehicle. .
