Job Description:
Schedule: Sign-up schedule. Can average between 5 to 13 shifts
each month.DutiesConsult with consultants appropriately.Provide
medical advice over the telephone.Complete all required
paperwork.Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.Perform medical
procedures.Obtain an adequate history, physical, assessment, and
plan in a timely and appropriate manner on each patient and develop
a treatment plan.Utilize paraprofessional staff as
appropriate.Respond to cardiopulmonary arrest as appropriate and
arrange appropriate backup from the Emergency Medical Service
(EMS).Interpret electrocardiograms.Preliminary to interpret
radiographs to include CAT scans Direct medical care through radio
communication with an ambulance.
