• Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,920 - $8,350
• Location: Alamogordo, NM 88310 - New Mexico CRNA job, Alamogordo anesthesia jobs
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days (7:00am - 5:00pm)
• Practice Model: All CRNA practice (independent, no supervision)
• Number of Providers: 7 CRNAs on team
• Number of ORs: 8
• EMR System: MedAxion (perioperative documentation)
• Credentialing Time Frame: 30-60 days
• Call Schedule: No call
• Assignment Dates: Multiple dates available from June through December (inquire for specifics)

Job Requirements - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

• Minimum 2 years of CRNA clinical experience required
• Active New Mexico CRNA license (or eligible for expedited licensure)
• Current AHA-issued certifications (BLS/ACLS as applicable)
• DEA and CSR required
• Proven regional anesthesia skills: spinals, peripheral nerve blocks, and epidurals (case logs required)

Responsibilities - Locum CRNA / Anesthesia Provider

• Provide high-quality perioperative anesthesia care across a broad case mix including Endoscopy, OB, GYN, Vascular, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Oral/Maxillofacial, ENT, Acute Pain Management, and Trauma
• Independently perform spinals, peripheral nerve blocks, and epidurals in an all-CRNA model
• Manage intraoperative anesthesia, monitoring, and post-anesthesia handoff to ensure patient safety
• Maintain accurate, timely perioperative documentation in MedAxion EMR
• Collaborate with a team of 7 CRNAs to optimize OR flow and patient outcomes
• Adhere to New Mexico state regulations and institutional anesthesia protocols
