Job Description:
As an Air Interdiction Agent with U.S. Customs and Border
Protection (CBP), you will play a crucial role in the agency's
mission to prevent terrorism, enhance border security, and
facilitate the management of cross-border traffic. In this role,
you will operate aircrafts and radar equipment, and perform aerial
surveillance and interdictions. Your duties require advanced skills
in aviation and law enforcement, ensuring the safety and security
of the United States' borders. Operate aircraft and radar systems
for missions involving aerial surveillance and reconnaissance.
Intercept and interdict any unlawful activities at or near the US
borders. Collaborate with other law enforcement teams to share
intelligence and execute coordinated operations. Participate in and
support aerial and ground-based enforcement activities. Maintain
the readiness and integrity of all aviation equipment and
technology. Complete detailed mission reports and document all
pertinent activities rigorously. Advanced operational knowledge of
aircraft and radar systems. Strong competence in law enforcement
protocols and procedures. High situational awareness and ability to
make quick decisions under pressure. Effective communication and
teamwork skills. Proficiency in navigation and safety regulations.
