The ACT Team
Lead/Therapist provides programmatic support and oversight which
includes staff assignments, file compliance, and staff support.
Responsible for ensuring the effective provision of medically
necessary services and for the administrative supervision of the
team. Assists in developing, evaluating, and coordinating treatment
plans and recovery services. In therapeutic role, provides clinical
services including assessment, treatment planning, and counseling
for ACT patients on an as needed basis. Ensures knowledge and
adherence to all federal and states regulations as well as
adherence to ACT Policy and procedures.
- Demonstrated competency
in Managed Care systems and provider networks in the adult recovery
model, in the philosophy of behavioral health programs and in case
management roles and responsibilities.
- Demonstrated competency
in case management procedures and allocation of resources and in
the characteristics of behavioral health issues and levels of
- Maintains confidentiality
and discretion as a rule.
- Must be able to work as a
team and communicate effectively with others.
- Familiarize with all

- Ability to multi-task,
prioritize and work under pressure without losing sight of

understanding to all federal and state regulations, ACT Fidelity
Model, Accreditation Standards, Evidence Based Practice within 6

- Masters degree in social work, psychology, or a behavioral
health related field and minimum of one year of supervisory
- Must be independently licensed in the State of New Mexico
(LISW, LPCC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychologist)
