Full Time Shift Thursday - Saturday, Every other Wednesday
7:00a-7:30p Pay Rate $15.00 per hour Summary of Job: The Mobile
Crisis Peer Support Specialist provides support and recovery
training to individuals in the community where the individual is
located. Peer Support Specialist uses recovery-oriented language
and therapeutic engagement to de-escalate and engage individuals in
their start to recovery. The Mobile Crisis Peer Support Specialist
is a part of a two-person team that is called to the scene where an
individual may be experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The
two-person team will assess, de-escalate and connect to resources
in the community or if further assessment and crisis de-escalation
is needed will be driven back to the Crisis Triage Center for
further stabilization. The Peer Support Specialist I also assists
in implementing/creating a recovery environment and acts as an
advocate for the needs and rights of every individual. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities: ---Connects with new participants,
off-site anywhere in the community or hospitalized. ---Provides
peer support to engage individuals in a recovery partnership and
assists in identifying participants' hopes and dreams and the
solutions they are seeking. ---Teaches recovery and life skills
using recovery tools. ---Models hope, personal responsibility and
self-advocacy to demonstrate how recovery goals can be respectfully
met and how a belief in self is maintained. ---Assists in
developing natural supports and community living. ---Cultivates
connectedness in the person's life (self, others, the environment,
and to meaning and purpose). ---Coordinates with the individual's
clinical team and other supports to arrange services or resources
to help the individual achieve their goals. ---Completes clinical
documentation as required. ---Understands and adheres to RI
International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of
Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. ---Performs other
related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily. The individual must feel comfortable meeting
with individuals outside of the center and in the individual's
different environments where they live, work and play. The

skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or

---Successful completion of CPSW Training through OPRE obtaining
Certification as a Peer Support Specialist required. *Must be
bilingual English/Spanish ---Basic computer skills. ---Lived
experience requiring mental health and/or substance use services.
---Ability to teach/train recovery information and recovery tools.
---Effective communication skills. ---High School Diploma or
equivalent. Driving Requirements: ---Driving is required for this
position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International
driving policy. A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be
completed as part of the new hire onboarding process. Physical
Demands: May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions
of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing,
walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination,
use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May
be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds. Work Environment This
is a position working as a crisis responder; therefore, will have
contact with individuals who are agitated and/or may be confused.
Will work outside in the community where the individual is located
and the work environment includes driving. May work in an office
environment or behavioral health facility, as mobile crisis
responders are co-located at the Crisis Triage Center. Will be
expected to work some hours at the facility. ADDENDUM - Arizona
