Job Description:

HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to oversee and enhance patient care, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and mentor nursing staff. This role demands a compassionate leader who is adept at balancing high-quality care with efficiency and fostering a collaborative team environment in a high-pressure setting. Coordinate daily operations in the Pediatric ICU, ensuring all health, safety, and hospital policies are followed. Supervise and mentor ICU nursing staff and assist with clinical decisions. Implement patient care plans in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team. Monitor patient care for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed. Conduct continuous training sessions for all staff to meet the department's standards and improvements in patient care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and evaluate patient care plans. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle high stress environments Proficiency with healthcare management and clinical software systems Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
